Our take on toffees is a soft, buttery, a little granular melt in your mouth magical moment.  In order to keep the toffee from going to the other side and being too sweet, we add porcini mushroom powder and roasted pumpkin seeds.  A touch of chocolate is on the top and inside.  

Note: Super with washed rind or strong cheeses or mix with ice cream to make an updated butter pecan!

Unique and addictive

I reached out to Katherine to have this added to my order of the Wes Anderson box. Of course I was going to share it with my husband, but really, the toffee was for myself—I’m more into the experimental flavors, and this does have a subtle mushroomy taste. Imagine my surprise then when my husband asked if he could polish off the few remaining chunks!

I love this place!

We used to live in the Dallas area, so when we went back for a weekend visit, DSC was on our list of things we had to do. I love the Fungus Amongus because it's so soft and has a delicious, rich flavor. I'll be buying this one again!
